How we supply, document and ship research materials

AethelBio supplies every compound strictly as a chemical reference material for in-vitro laboratory research and further analytical study. Nothing in this catalog is a medicine, a dietary supplement, a cosmetic, or a therapeutic product of any kind.

Our products are not for human or veterinary use. They must never be ingested, inhaled, injected, applied to the skin, or otherwise introduced to a living organism. No statement on this site should be read as a claim about safety, efficacy or any biological effect.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 21 years old, that you are a qualified researcher or acting on behalf of a legitimate research organisation, that you have the training and facilities to handle research chemicals safely, and that you accept sole responsibility for the lawful use and disposal of everything you purchase.

Each lot we release is assayed by high-performance liquid chromatography for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity. The result is recorded against the batch number printed on the vial and on the accompanying certificate of analysis.

Independent third-party laboratories verify a representative sample from every production batch. We retain the raw analytical data, and we will share the relevant record for your lot on request — just quote the batch number.

Lyophilized compounds are stored cold on site and dispatched in insulated packaging designed to hold temperature in transit. We recommend storing vials at -20°C on arrival, protected from light, and reconstituting only what you need for the experiment in front of you.

Orders are picked and packed within 48 hours of cleared payment, Monday to Friday. Tracking details are emailed as soon as your parcel is handed to the carrier.

Cold-chain shipping is included in the price shown at checkout. Parcels are sent in insulated packaging with sufficient coolant for a normal transit window.

Delivery timescales vary by destination and carrier. Delays caused by customs inspection, carrier disruption or an incomplete delivery address are outside our control, though we will always help you trace a parcel.

Because these are research chemicals, we cannot accept returns of opened or reconstituted vials for safety and traceability reasons.

If a product arrives damaged, is missing from the parcel, or fails to match the certificate of analysis for its lot, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and a photograph of the vial and its label. We will replace the item or refund it in full.

If a parcel is lost in transit we will arrange a replacement once the carrier has confirmed the loss.

We collect only the information needed to answer your enquiry and fulfil your order: your name, email address, delivery details and order contents.

Card payments are processed on an encrypted third-party checkout page. We never see or store your full card number.

Order and enquiry records are kept for as long as required for accounting and batch traceability, and are not sold or shared for marketing purposes. You can ask us to delete your enquiry details at any time by writing to the address on our contact page.
